If you are a PA Jeep owner or have been to Bantam before, you may already know that Pennsylvania hasn't been the most accommodating for doorless driving of your Jeep. That all might change for the better very soon thanks to a new bill (SB298) that is being spearheaded by Senator Devlin Robinson. The Senate unanimously passed the bill allowing doorless driving last week. (Read more about that here or watch the closing remarks by Senator Robinson here).
The bill is now headed to the PA House for consideration, and we want to help make sure PA lawmakers know how important this bill is to the Jeep community for both PA residents AND the thousands of you who visit the birthplace of the Jeep each year!
If all of our Bantam Fans sign the petition and share the posts on our Bantam social media pages to personal and Jeep clubs/group pages, there is a very good chance you can come to Bantam in June and be legally doorless!
Here are a few ways you can show your support:
1. Click here to sign the Change.org petition (you do NOT have to be a PA resident to sign).
2. If you are a PA resident, you can also click here to find your legislator, and then download a sample letter to email to them so they know you would like them to support this bill too!
3. Share this post we made on our Facebook and Instagram pages to your own page and in any Jeep clubs/groups you belong to. Let's make this viral and let PA legislators know that the birthplace of the Jeep needs to be legally doorless!
